Chad Reed's motocross season is finished and so is his racing team.
Reed underwent season-ending shoulder surgery this week and followed by shutting down TwoTwo Motorsports, which he created in 2011 after failing to land a factory ride.
TwoTwo Motorsport's second rider, Josh Grant, is now without a ride, though Reed plans to pay him for the remainder of the season.
The 33-year-old Reed says he has no plans to retire, hoping to land a factory ride for 2016.
