The lap record on this layout is a 1:18.339 set in 2008 during testing . That time was set by Felipe Massa in the 2008-spec car with slick tyres being tested for the 2009 season. But I reckon we'll see it beaten this week.
As long as the sun stays out, we can reasonably expect track temperatures in the mid to high 20s, which should be enough to turn the Pirelli tyres on and get some representative lap times. Last week's best lap was 1:19.3 on the medium tyres, but I wouldn't be surprised to see times down in the 1:17s.
