MELBOURNE, Australia -- Haas boss Gunther Steiner has labelled his team's qualifying performance in Australia as "amazing" but is under no illusions as to how quickly things in Formula One can change.
A spectacular Q3 lap from Romain Grosjean saw the American team claim sixth on the grid, beating other midfield rivals Williams, Force India and Toro Rosso. While pleased, Steiner is remaining grounded and believes the evenness of the field means any advantage can quickly disappear.
"To be four tenths in front of the Williams is amazing," Steiner said. "We knew that the midfield is tight but I think the team did a good job and [Romain] did an outstanding lap.
