McLaren
The sun was low in the Catalonian sky as Fernando Alonso left the pits on hyper-soft tyres and low fuel. Less than an hour of pre-season testing remained and during its two weeks in Spain the McLaren garage had been given little to smile about. On-track reliability issues on five of the eight test days was painting a worrying picture and the time spent in the garage had hacked away at the team's running time, meaning this low-fuel lap had been shunted right to the end of Friday's run plan.
