Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo and Force India's Sergio Perez have been handed reprimands for turning up late for the national anthem ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix.
Ricciardo and Perez arrived late to the start of the Chinese national anthem, despite a rule change which has been brought in to reduce the time drivers have for their reconnaissance laps to the grid, allowing them more time to form up at the front of the grid in time for the start of the national anthem.
The sporting regulations state that "all drivers must be present at the front of the grid for the playing of the national anthem" 14 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the formation lap.
