Boston Grand Prix organizers continue to work on a plan to refund ticket-buyers as the Massachusetts attorney general's office is pressing them and IndyCar executives to get money back in the hands of fans for the now-canceled Labor Day event.
So far, there is no definitive timeline to issue refunds to those who have not received them since the event was canceled April 29. A deadline for a plan had been set for Monday by Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey.
According to Boston television station WCVB, organizers have refunded more than $400,000 to ticket holders but that did not cover all the tickets sold.
