KENT, Wash. -- Antron Brown became the fourth driver in NHRA history to reach 50 Top Fuel event victories, ending a yearlong drought Sunday at the CatSpot NHRA Northwest Nationals.
The three-time Top Fuel season champion beat teammate Leah Pritchett with a 3.835-second run at 322.84 mph for his third consecutive victory at Pacific Raceways and first Wally since the 2017 event.
"It is no secret that we struggled at the beginning of the year," Brown said. "Our main focus was one run at a time and to get better each time. But today all of the win lights turned on for our team and I couldn't be more proud of all my guys for how persistent that they have been.
