With Pettway and Johnson both healthy, will we finally see real Auburn offense?

AUBURN, Ala. – Jarrett Stidham was considered the missing piece to Auburn’s College Football Playoff aspirations when he arrived on the Plains.

Saturday may be the first time the sophomore quarterback has the complete offense around him when the No. 15-ranked Tigers (3-1, 1-0 SEC) play No. 24 Mississippi State (3-1, 1-1) at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Junior running back Kamryn Pettway is expected to return and right tackle Darius James may be back as well as the two didn’t play in last week’s 51-14 win at Missouri.

“Darius is back and he’s 100 percent and feeling good,” said Gus Malzahn during Wednesday’s SEC coaches’ call about the senior lineman who was carted off the field against Mercer.
