He looked at his players — many of whom he already feels comfortable relying on after 15 practices this spring — and told them he’s anticipating “some great competition” in the front seven of Auburn’s defense.
It’s something Muschamp is truly looking forward to seeing unfold this summer and into fall camp.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun in the fall as far as guys that are competing for playing time and competing to start and understating about being a part of that rotation up front,” Muschamp said Tuesday.
As the Tigers wrapped up their spring season this week, Muschamp rattled off a list of 16 players he believes he can trust to execute to his standard next season, including 12 players in the front seven.
