Kevin Steele met with the media Friday after Auburn’s third practice of fall camp. It was his first press conference of the 2016 football season. The new Auburn defensive coordinator said he was pleased to see that his players, “Came back in very good shape with a very good attitude.”
Of course he gave the typical rundown on key personal. Most notably he complimented senior Josh Holsey, saying the corner back has a, “High football IQ.” And that transfer linebacker T.J. Neal is doing good but, “It’s still new to him.” He also said he was very impressed with freshmen new comers Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson.
