War Eagle, everybody! SEC Media Daze passed our way last week, and the pundits there have selected Auburn as the favorite for the SEC title this season. Jeremy Johnson makes the preseason All-SEC lists as well. There has been some Auburn hand-wringing over these lofty expectations, to be sure. It’s been well-documented that Auburn doesn’t tend to do well when ranked high in July and August. I think that this is the year that the Tigers will break through!
Much has been made of the Will Muschamp hire, and rightfully so. I’m among those who expect Auburn’s defense to improve.
