Georgia sophomore defensive end Jonathan Ledbetter, who was arrested for the second time in five months on alcohol-related charges Sunday morning, will remain on the team.
Ledbetter, in the mix for a starting job, was arrested early Sunday morning on DUI and underage possession of alcohol. He was arrested in March for underage possession of alcohol and possession of false identification; those charges eventually were dropped.
The police report, which was obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, said Ledbetter was found asleep in his car while the car was running. The arresting officer wrote that it took more than 30 minutes to wake up Ledbetter.
