AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn volleyball team was picked to finish ninth in the Southeastern Conference as the league released its 2015 preseason coaches’ poll Thursday.
The Tigers finished 10th a year ago with a 13-18 overall record, 5-13 in league play, competing with mostly underclassmen in starting roles. As such, Auburn returns all six starters plus libero and 11 letterwinners overall for 2015.
Auburn received 59 points in the balloting of the league’s 13 head coaches to earn the ninth spot in the preseason poll. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams.
