AUBURN, Ala. – In its first match of day two of the War Eagle Invitational, the Auburn volleyball team fell to Furman, 3-1 (25-21, 25-19, 20-25, 25-16), in Auburn Arena Saturday.
The Tigers were once again led by sophomore Brenna McIlroy and freshman Gwyn Jones, offensively. McIlroy picked up 15 kills, while Jones had 10 kills and a .400 hitting percentage. Libero Jesse Earl finished with a match-high 23 digs and chipped in two service aces. Senior Emily Klitzke finished with eight kills and a match-best five blocks.
