TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Auburn volleyball traveled to in-state rival Alabama Sunday and fell to the Crimson Tide, 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 26-24). The loss drops the Tigers to 15-11 overall and 7-7 in SEC play.
Sophomore libero Jesse Earl had 10 digs in the match and classmate Courtney Crable led the Tigers with eight kills. Freshman Brenna McIlroy totaled seven kills and six digs, while sophomore setter Alexa Filley finished with 28 assists.
Krystal Rivers had a match-high 15 kills for Alabama (14-14, 8-6) and added eight digs.
