AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn volleyball team capitalized on a late rally in the fourth set to take a 3-1 (25-16, 25-23, 21-25, 25-23) win over South Carolina Friday night in Auburn Arena.
Four Tigers totaled double-digit kills in the match with sophomore Courtney Crable and freshman Brenna McIlroy leading the way with 16 each. Junior Emily Klitzke finished with 13 kills, while classmate Breanna Barksdale had 10. Sophomore setter Alexa Filley had a match-high 49 assists and added five kills and seven digs.
The Auburn defense was led by sophomore libero Jesse Earl and senior Alyssa Ivey.
