No. 47 Pleun Burgmans got Auburn's season off to a hot start with a second place finish in the Orange singles bracket. Burgmans opened the tournament with 6-2, 6-2 wins over Pittsburg's Carina Ma and Vanderbilt's Ellie Yates. After picking up her third win in the Orange bracket semifinals, she fell to Miami's Yolimar Ogando in the finals.
Sophomore Alizee Michaud finished with a third place finish in the Orange singles bracket, ending the weekend 3-1 for Auburn.
