AUBURN, Ala. - No. 11 Auburn women’s tennis will travel to Tulsa, Okla. for it’s first trip to the Sweet 16 in school history on Thursday as the Tigers will face off against No. 6 Vanderbilt a 9 a.m. CT.
Auburn advanced to the NCAA Championships Round of 16 after defeating Alcorn State and No. 23 Arizona State in the Auburn Regional.
Senior Pleun Burgmans led the way for the Tigers with three wins on the weekend. The senior from Bergeijk, Netherlands is the program leader with 194 combined wins for her career.
