Celebrating the first Sweet 16 appearance in program history, Auburn soccer handed out its postseason awards at the team banquet last weekend. Casie Ramsier and Kala Faulkner took home the offensive and defensive MVP Awards, respectively, as the program reflected on its historic season.
Casie Ramsier, a junior, led the team with 12 goals and 28 points. At the end of the season she was named a NSCAA Second Team All-American, a CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American, All-SEC First Team and the SEC co-Scholar Athlete of the Year. Along with her MVP Award, she received the Captain’s Award, the Leading Scorer Award (28 points) and the Golden Booth (12 goals).
