AUBURN, Ala. - Technology is everywhere. We can’t escape it. Even when we want to, we forget that our cell phones are with us at all times, helping us learn, relax or connect with people around the world. Technology has helped us improve every aspect of our lives and that includes the lives of our Auburn women’s soccer team.
With the help of assistant strength and conditioning coach Megan Young, Auburn soccer has utilized a system that is more than just a heart rate monitor. For the past three years Young has been using a program that may look like just a heart rate monitor on the outside, but on the inside takes that same heart rate reading and forms it into multiple charts and graphs to show how hard each athlete’s body is working and what they can do to maximize productivity.
