ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - After its thrilling comeback and win in a shootout over fifth-seeded South Carolina in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals Wednesday, the 19th-ranked Auburn soccer team finds itself with a chance to secure a spot in the tournament final for the first time since 2012, but has to go through top-seeded Florida first to do so.
Auburn will face the sixth-ranked Gators Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. on the SEC Network. Florida defeated eighth-seeded Vanderbilt, 2-1, Wednesday to reach the semifinals.
The Tigers come into Friday's match with a full head of steam after completing a two-goal comeback against South Carolina.
