BATON ROUGE, La. – With a score of 197.125, the No. 8 Auburn gymnastics team set a new program road score record Friday night in Baton Rouge. Behind LSU's 197.825 in the Maravich Center, Auburn's night total was it's second-highest this season.
"I'm excited with how the team did even if it wasn't our best meet," head coach Jeff Graba said. "It wasn't a sharp night for us on any of the events, but I think the team fought hard. Overall, it was a successful weekend in front of a large, hostile crowd. This is hard place to compete and I think they handled the pressure as best as possible here.
