AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team jumped three spots to No. 7 in the national rankings following its season opening victory at Oregon State on Sunday.
The Tigers defeated the Beavers, 196.175-195.425, postings the second highest opening score in program history.
“Being ranked seventh at this point in the season is a tremendous accomplishment for our young team,” head coach Jeff Graba said. “It really says that we are starting out this season strong. However, even though we are excited about this we are reminding the girls that it's the final ranking that really matters.
