BISHOP, Ga. – The No. 1 Auburn equestrian team will compete in the SEC Championship title match for the first time since 2013 after besting fourth-seed South Carolina, 11-7, Friday on the opening day of the 2016 SEC Championship. The conference meet is being held at the UGA Equestrian Complex in Bishop, Ga.
The Tigers will take on No. 2 seed and host Georgia for the SEC title Saturday, March 26, at 1 p.m. CT.
“It was good to come away with a win, but I don’t think we rode as well as we’re capable of,” head coach Greg Williams said.
