WACO, Texas – The No. 1 Auburn equestrian advanced to the NCEA Championship final after defeating No. 5 Texas A&M, 10-6, Saturday afternoon in the Extraco Events Center. The Tigers (15-1) will take on No. 6 TCU at 2 p.m. CT for the national title.
The Equitation on the Flat crew opened with a 3-1 victory over the Aggies. Freshman Caitlin Boyle finished with a 146-144 win over Hannah Williams, while the SEC Flat Rider of the Year in senior Elizabeth Benson earned a 141-129 victory over Alex Desiderio. Junior All-American Ashley Foster closed out the event with a 167-130 win.
