AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn women's basketball team returns to the friendly confines of Auburn Arena Thursday night as the Tigers host Alabama in a key early-season SEC matchup. Tip is set for 6 p.m.
The Tigers (11-5, 1-2 SEC) are looking to bounce back after a pair of road losses to top-12 SEC opponents. Auburn fell at No. 7/6 Mississippi State on Thursday, then dropped another contest at No. 12/11 Tennessee on Sunday. Alabama (12-4, 1-2) will be Auburn's only opponent outside the nation's top 12 in the Tigers' first six league games.
“It’s huge," Auburn coach Terri Williams-Flournoy said of the importance of Thursday's game.
