W. Basketball. Auburn women top LSU for first SEC road win, 63-53

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Senior Cabriana Capers had a career-high 10 points and nine rebounds as Auburn got its first SEC road victory of the season, defeating LSU 63-53 Monday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Auburn (14-8, 4-5 SEC) overcame a season-high 30 turnovers and almost the entire lineup in foul trouble to snap a six-game losing streak to LSU (8-14, 2-7) and earn its first win in Baton Rouge since 2010.

"A lot of it was just getting the ball inside to Tra'Cee, and attacking and getting some transition layups," Auburn head coach Terri Williams-Flournoy said.
