AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn was unable to pick up its first SEC road victory of the season, falling 63-30 at Georgia Thursday night.
The Tigers (13-8, 3-5 SEC) played a strong first quarter and were tied with the Lady Bulldogs (15-6, 3-5) after the opening 10 minutes. But Auburn went ice-cold after that point, hitting just 6-of-32 shots from the floor over the final three quarters. Meanwhile, Georgia shot 42 percent for the game and controlled the offensive glass, pulling down 18 offensive rebounds.
"This was probably our worst game all year," Auburn head coach Terri Williams-Flournoy said.
