AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn women's basketball team will face its toughest test of the young season Thursday night as the Virginia Cavaliers visit Auburn Arena for a 6 p.m. contest.
The Tigers (2-0) are looking for a 3-0 start for the second-straight season after opening the campaign with wins over UAB and Southeastern Louisiana. Also on the line for Auburn is a 16-game non-conference winning streak at Auburn Arena that dates back to the start of the 2013-14 season.
"Virginia is a very good team," Auburn head coach Terri Williams-Flournoy said. "They're in a great conference, playing in the ACC.
