Track & Field, Cross Country. Johnson, Dincoff lead Auburn in final day at Commodore Invitational

Nashville - A pair of Auburn seniors led the Auburn track and field team on the final day of competition at the Commodore Invitational Saturday as Jessie Johnson won the women’s pole vault and Rachel Dincoff captured the women’s shot put. Johnson cleared 4.20m for the win, while Dincoff posted a winning throw with an indoor personal best of 16.17m.

Sophomore Jonielle Smith was second in the women’s 60m in personal-best time of 7.33, improving her qualifying time of 7.51 by .08 seconds.

“We had a solid second day and overall we had a good meet,” Auburn head coach Ralph Spry said.
