AUBURN, Ala. – Fourteen Auburn track and field athletes were named All-Americans by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for their accomplishments at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Senior Shawn Johnson and junior Marshay Ryan were named First Team All-Americans, both in the triple jump. Johnson earned a fifth place finish with a jump of 16.28m/53-5, while Ryan finished eighth.
Student-athletes earned First-Team USTFCCCA All-America honors by virtue of finishing among the top-8 in their events, including as a member of a relay, at this past weekend’s NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon at Historic Hayward Field.
