AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn track and field team held a team banquet Tuesday night at the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center.
Head coach Ralph Spry and staff honored team members for their accomplishments throughout the 2015 track and cross country seasons. The coaches voted on the recipients of each award.
Sophomore Grant Schumacher and senior Kristin Sheehan were presented with the Top Scholars Award, which was given to the student-athletes with the top GPAs.
Sophomore Mitchell Gomez was named the Men’s Cross Country Most Improved Runner, while junior Claire Kennedy was named the Women’s Cross Country Most Improved Runner.
