Last month, new broke of former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville’s interest in running for governor of Alabama. While he’s likely to have support from the Tiger faithful, there’s one potential issue: Would an Alabama fan vote for a former Auburn coach?
During an appearance Wednesday on “The Opening Drive” on WJOX, the former coach made his case to Alabama fans. According to Tuberville, Tide fans should be grateful for his time on the Plains as it factored into the hiring of Nick Saban.
