As Auburn began the second half of the SEC Schedule, first place was on the line as LSU came to town. The Bayou Bengals were coming off a surprising loss at Vanderbilt, which ended a 26-game losing streak in the SEC for the Commodores (I was in attendance for this one).
Unlike a lot of games in SEC play, Auburn actually got off to a decent start in this one and led 12-8 after 7 minutes. But LSU went on a 15-0 run over the next 4 minutes and led 23-12 with 9 minutes left in the half.
