War Eagle, everybody! It’s time now for the Acid Reign report on Auburn’s surprising 26-10 win over Texas A&M in College Station. The 16 point win over the Aggies was balm for the Auburn soul. Such a win was surprising, because this Tiger football team is a banged up mash-unit in a lot of areas. With the win, Auburn needs only one more win to reach a bowl game. Auburn’s last three games are at home in coming weeks, against Georgia, then Idaho and finishing with Alabama.
This time a week ago, I was opining that this year’s defense could finish up as the worst in Auburn history, giving up 30 or more per game.
