NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Auburn track and field compiled three personal bests and four top-five finishes on day one of the Vanderbilt Invitational held at the Vanderbilt Multipurpose Complex.
Senior Jonielle Smith continued her strong start to the season with another win in sprints, this time in the women’s 200m where she clocked a 23.88 to lead the pack. The product of Kingston, Jamaica, won last weekend’s Commodore Invitational 60m, held on the same track, with a personal best time of 7.30.
Coleman Churitch finished runner-up in the men’s 5k with a time of 14:32.
