NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sophomore sprinter Natalliah Whyte shined in her indoor collegiate debut, clocking a 23.98 to win the women’s 200m on day one of the Commodore Invitational. Her time is currently tied for the third-fastest in the nation this season.
“Pretty solid first day,” Auburn head coach Ralph Spry said. “I’m pleased with our result today and I thought we did pretty good.”
The Tigers swept the long jump competition with Mark Rubalcaba winning the men’s event with a distance of 23-10.25/7.27m and Jakayla Hand winning the women’s with a personal best mark of 19-1.
