COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Freshman Abigayle Jackson scored a career-high 13 points, but Auburn could not overcome a hot-shooting Texas A&M team as the 14th-ranked Aggies earned a 78-59 victory Sunday at Reed Arena.
The Tigers (11-11, 2-8 SEC) ran into a buzzsaw of an offense from Texas A&M (18-6, 7-3), who shot 56.0 percent for the game.
“We had some really bad live-ball turnovers, and they really attacked in transition,” Auburn head coach Terri Williams-Flournoy said. “(Texas A&M) shot the ball really, really well. I thought Danni Williams and (Chennedy) Carter got some shots.
