For the first time since 2003 Auburn has won two games in the SEC Tournament as the Tigers (39-19, 17-15 SEC) defeated Ole Miss (42-15, 19-13 SEC) 9-3 Wednesday. Auburn now advances to the winner’s bracket where they will face Texas A&M (38-19, 14-17 SEC) Thursday at 4:30 p.m. CT.
The No.21 Tigers had trailed the Rebels 2-0 in the seventh inning but broke out for eight runs in the last three frames. And once again one of the heroes of the game was freshman Julien Edouard who hit a walk-off single against Kentucky Tuesday and came through with a gram slam tonight to give the Tigers a six run lead.
