Daniel Thomas didn't have an Auburn offer until this morning. He visited the Tigers last weekend and was hoping for the offer. He was told earlier this week that Auburn's class was full. Then this morning, after Nigel Warrior signed with Tennessee, he finally got the offer from Auburn.
I can't imagine how tough this choice had to be for the young man. I'm sure after being told the class was full this week, he set his sights on signing with Minnesota. Then Auburn swooped in and offered him a dream chance. He decided to take it.
You have to like keeping good in-state kids home if you're an Auburn fan.
