Swimming & Diving. Men’s S&D Championships start Wednesday in Atlanta

The Auburn men’s swimming and diving program will take nine swimmers and two divers to the 2016 NCAA Championships, which begins on Wednesday at the McAuley Aquatics Center at Georgia Tech.

“The men have a really good team,” Auburn head coach Brett Hawke said. “We qualified two extra people from last year’s numbers and we had an outstanding SEC performance overall from the men. We won a lot of events at SECs. Joe Patching is going in as the fastest qualifier in the 200 IM, something that he’s not used to. A lot of our results have put us in a really good position to score a lot of big points at NCAAs.
