The path breaststrokers Annie Lazor and Natasha Lloyd took to become teammates at Auburn could not be any more different. Lazor, a senior from Beverly Hills, Mich., came to Auburn as a sophomore transfer. Lloyd, a junior, would travel over 8,100 miles, change from the southern to the northern hemisphere and have to overcome a 19-hour time difference to land in Auburn from her home in Ohoka, New Zealand.
“Personality-wise, there is not a similarity other than swimming,” Auburn associate head coach John Hargis said. “Tash is extremely engaging and the feedback is non-stop while Annie is a girl that when she comes to the pool it’s cap and goggles are on and she’s going.
