Auburn will swim in the championship finals of the 200 freestyle relay after Peter Holoda, Michael Duderstadt, Zach Apple and Jacob Molacek qualified seventh in a time of 1:17.16 during prelims of the 2016 Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday morning at Georgia Tech’s McAuley Aquatics Center.
Auburn narrowly missed out on two other championship finals as Joe Patching will be the top seed in the B Final of the 200 IM after tying for the ninth-fastest time in prelims at 1:42.63 and Peter Holoda tied for eighth in the prelims of the 50 free in 19.
