ATHENS, Ga. – Hugo Morris swam a 4:17.60 in the 500 free – the fifth best time in school history –and Zoe Thatcher swam a 4:41.42 in the same event – fourth-best in school history – as Auburn wrapped up day one of the UGA Fall Invitational on Friday night. The men also raced to a first place finish in the 200 free relay and sit in second place in the team competition after the first day of competition while the women are third.
“Hugo really changed his strategy and went for it and pushed the pace,” Auburn head coach Brett Hawke said.
