Competing for the third straight weekend, the Auburn swimming and diving teams split a pair of dual meets at Tennessee on Friday afternoon. Auburn’s No. 5-ranked men (5-0, 4-0 SEC) downed No. 19 Tennessee, 162-138, while the No. 11 Auburn women (4-1, 3-1 SEC) fell to No. 14 Tennessee, 171-129.
“There was some really tough racing today,” Auburn head coach Brett Hawke said. “I’m happy with the team’s performance. There were definitely some swims in there that show signs we are on the right track. I’m just happy that the team is competing as one unit, swimming and diving, men and women.
