“This will be an excellent competition based on the teams that are coming in,” head coach Jeff Shaffer said. “It will give us the first opportunity to have a prelim and final in competition and our first opportunity to compete on the platform on Saturday. This will be an indication of where we are, how we are doing and where we need to go based on the level of competition.”
Auburn has already picked up four Zone qualifying scores on both the men’s and women’s side.
Pete Turnham has qualifying scores on both the 1- and 3-meter boards while Scott Lazeroff and Justin Youtsey both have 1-meter qualifying scores, with Youtsey winning the 1-meter during both the Alabama and Indiana dual meets.
