As most readers of Track ‘Em Tigers know, Acid Reign does the weekly breakdown on the weekend’s match-up. I won’t venture too far in to his territory. He does an awesome job and I doubt I could add much to it.
But the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry is one of great importance even though the pomp-and-circumstance and true meaning has lost some luster in the last few years. It seems to me that the game has less meaning to the newest generation of Auburn fans, other than they have been told that it is important. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I feel that it has been a hyped-up rivalry for some time, and I have some interesting observations.
