AUBURN, Ala. u2015 Kasey Cooper's grand slam and Jade Rhodes' 2-run homer in the fourth punctuated a big hitting night for No. 3 Auburn, which disposed of South Carolina 10-0 in a five-inning run-rule victory Friday at Jane B. Moore Field.
The nation's top scoring team just kept on scoring, tallying one in the second, three in the third and six in the fourth.
Auburn improved to 28-4 overall and 4-3 in the Southeastern Conference. South Carolina fell to 24-7 overall and 2-5 in the league. The two teams will play a doubleheader Saturday, at 2 p.
