AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn Softball is a force to be reckoned with this season and Jade Rhodes has played a huge role in the team's success. As a junior, Rhodes is Auburn's starting first baseman and is quickly approaching the school record for homeruns hit in a single season.
Rhodes was 12 years old when she began her softball career. She is the daughter of former Major League Baseball pitcher, Arthur Rhodes, who pitched in the MLB for 21 years.
"I knew how to play softball before I even officially started playing just from always playing outside with my dad at such a young age," Rhodes said.
