They swept through the non-conference schedule. Won almost every series in SEC play.

Now, says Auburn softball coach Clint Myers, the Tigers are ready to embark on Phase Three of the season. Bring coffee and beignets, because Auburn will start that at 10 Thursday morning against Missouri in the Southeastern Conference Tournament in Baton Rouge.

Auburn has been pointing toward postseason play for some time as it streaked to a 46-9 overall record, an 18-6 SEC record and a Top 10 national ranking. Myers said the Tigers will carry the same approach to postseason play, which starts at the SEC Tournament and will continue in the NCAAs.
